Our daughter had her follow-up at the cardiologist last month and she asked us to come back in again in two weeks because the pressure in her heart was a high. So last week was her follow-up and her pressure in her heart was even higher which was an awful feeling. Her cardiologist said it is time for a diagnostic catheter to get accurate measurements of her heart pressures and find out why the pressure is high in the middle of her replacement valve. She doesn't know what the issue is or what is causing the pressure. We are scared. Charlie went into the cath lab when he was a little over a year and it was determined at that point he needed to replace his valve. We are scared the same thing is going to happen to our little girl at 4 months instead of over a year. When the valve is supposed to last much longer, and we avoided having two surgeries at birth by the Doctor being able to do a complete repair/replacement, we are back here again. And I haven't talked with my wife about it yet. I mean we talk about her feelings and the situation but I haven't been able to talk about my feelings and it is because I am scared. I want her to be ok. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers. It is not scheduled yet but her doctor wants her in the cath lab next week.
